Colliding Galaxies Animations

Galaxies move along cosmic filaments that are confined by magnetic fields. Intersecting filaments are where galaxies and galaxy clusters collide. Herscel scientists Andre and Pilbratt have seen stars form "like beads on strings" along and in dense filaments in IC 5146, Aquila, and Polaris. Cosmic Filaments contain the most mass in the Universe. GRAVITO-ELECTROMAGNETIC UNIVERSE
